Failed Transaction: Out of Gas

Hi,

Just had a transaction revert because of an out of gas error. Very painful because the gas price was 269 wei and ended up costing me over $300. I’m guessing it was because the swap consumed more gas than the limit that was allowed?

Any idea how to prevent this in the future? It’s weird because it was a manual transaction from the UI and I accepted what was sent to Metamask.

Here are the error details:
Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [ Out of gas ]
Fail with error ‘callBytes failed: Error(External call failed: Error(low-level call failed))’
