Hey 1inch community. Could anyone explain me should I activate CHI token (in advanced settings) each time I want to make a token swap? ---

I don’t think so, but not 100% positive. I unchecked it once, then had to pay gas again to re-check it. So… yeah… no, just do it once and leave it activated is my thing now 🙂 ---

This is because of the upgrade to v3, you must approve CHI on v3 to be able to use it since token approvals don’t work across different contracts. You can always [switch back](https://help.1inch.exchange/en/articles/5039843-how-to-switch-between-the-1inch-aggregation-protocol-v3-and-v2) to v2, but it’s less gas efficient. ---
